The 7th Annual Bark and Wine will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021, from 4-8 p.m. This is our shelter’s signature fundraising event, with dinner, fine wines, raffles, a silent auction, live music, and our very popular live auction. More auction items are coming in every day, but some of the items we can announce so far includes a signed poster from Widespread Panic and memorabilia from R.E.M, gift certificates to area attractions like Zoo Atlanta and the Atlanta Botanical Garden, a small catio from Catio Bob the Catio Builder, a Furbo, and much more. Be sure to check our website frequently as we are adding new items and sponsors daily. <br> Best of all, we are so thankful that our friends at Carrabba's Italian Grill Athens have generously agreed to provide a scrumptious Italian dinner for our guests. While we don't have a definite menu yet, we're looking forward to more chicken marsala, shrimp spedino, three-cheese and sausage stuffed mushrooms, and more! As always, you'll also enjoy local wines from our long-time Diamond Sponsor Boutier Winery& Inn LLC. And if you joined us in 2019, you got to enjoy some tasty desserts from Mama's Boy, who are will also be back with their signature dessert and coffee bar. <br> For this year's location, we have partnered with the wonderful folks at Grant Hill Farms, LLC to host this year’s Bark and Wine where we will again have the capacity to host upwards of 300 guests! Tickets are $45 in advance or $55 at the door and are on sale now. Be sure to order yours early as we sold out in advance in both 2018 and 2019. Each ticket includes either one glass of Boutier wine or two non-alcoholic drinks. This is a fantastic date night, so buy your tickets early knowing that you are going to have a marvelous time and support a great cause at the same time. <br> We hope you're as excited about this year's Bark and Wine as we are, especially after having to cancel last year's event, and we are thrilled to getting to see all of you again soon!
