SUMMARY:Reins of Leadership - Equine assisted Leadership Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Reins of Leadership: Equine-Assisted Leadership ClassThe Ranch at Spirit Ridge is pleased to offer two fall dates for its Reins of Leadership equine-assisted leadership class\, an immersive experience designed to help participants strengthen self-leadership\, awareness\, communication\, and practical leadership skills. The program is built around a simple principle: effective leadership begins with the ability to lead oneself. Rather than taking place in a traditional classroom setting\, Reins of Leadership uses hands-on\, ground-based activities with horses to provide participants with a unique perspective on how their behavior\, communication\, presence\, and emotional regulation influence those around them.Participants will explore:Self-leadership and self-awarenessCommunication and trustEmotional regulationAccountabilityTeamwork and problem-solvingResilienceThe impact of personal behavior and presence on othersPractical leadership skills that can be applied within an agency or organizationNo previous horse experience is required\, and participants will not ride the horses. All activities are conducted from the ground in a safe\, supportive\, and non-judgmental environment.A central component of the experience is learning how horses respond to the way people actually show up. Horses do not respond to rank\, title\, position\, or years of experience. Instead\, they respond to communication\, confidence\, consistency\, and presence\, offering participants immediate and meaningful feedback about their leadership style.First Responder OpportunityThe Ranch at Spirit Ridge is offering this class at no cost to first responders. The program also qualifies for Georgia P.O.S.T. credit.Law enforcement officers\, firefighters\, EMS professionals\, dispatchers\, and other first responders are encouraged to participate. This is an opportunity to invest in leadership development while gaining practical skills that can be carried back into the workplace and the communities they serve.Fall Class DatesTuesday\, September 15\, 2026\nTuesday\, October 20\, 2026Time: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM\nLocation: The Ranch at Spirit Ridge\n146 Sun Grove Road\nColbert\, GA 30628Space is limited\, and registration is required. To register or request additional information\, contact The Ranch at Spirit Ridge at theranchatspiritridge@gmail.com.Shared on behalf of The Ranch at Spirit Ridge\, Equine-Assisted Leadership & Personal Growth.Where Hope Rises\, Honor Leads\, and Healing Begins.
