The Madison County Library, in partnership with the University of Georgia Extension, will host a Radon Education program designed to help community members better understand radon and its potential impact on health. During this educational session, participants will learn what radon is, the health effects associated with radon exposure, where radon is commonly found, how to test for radon in the home, and available options for addressing high radon levels. The program will take place on January 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Madison County Library.
Those with questions about the program may contact Rebecca Cantrell at rebecca.cantrell@uga.edu. The University of Georgia is an Equal Opportunity Institution.
