Reader Nation Coalition: Free Parent & Child Literacy Workshop

Description

Fall Fun and Early Literacy with Reader Nation

Make plans for Saturday, November 7, for a morning of fall fun, family connection, and early literacy with Reader Nation!

In partnership with the Madison County School District, Reader Nation is offering FREE workshops for parents and caregivers of children from birth to age five. Choose the session that works best for your family, with workshops beginning at 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM at the Board of Education Building, located at 800 Madison Street in Danielsville.

Families will learn simple, everyday habits that support early literacy and have the opportunity to practice fun, back and forth conversations with their babies and young children. Each participating parent and child will receive a new book and helpful resources to support learning at home.

The fun does not stop there! Before or after your workshop, head across the street to the Madison County Chamber of Commerce and Partners in Agriculture Harvest Festival at the Madison County Schools Agricultural Center. Stop by the Reader Nation booth to explore additional free resources, enjoy a fall reading nook, and let little ones participate in interactive games.

Bring the family, build early learning skills, and enjoy a wonderful fall morning celebrating literacy and community!
