Wellness Class: Diabetic Education

Elbert Memorial Hospital invites community members to take charge of their health through its upcoming Diabetic Education Wellness Class. This FREE six-week course is designed to help individuals better understand and manage diabetes through practical education, guidance, and support from the hospital's experienced diabetic educators.

Participants will learn essential skills for diabetes management, including blood sugar monitoring, medication education, dietary management, and strategies for incorporating exercise and healthy lifestyle changes into their daily routines. Whether newly diagnosed or looking to improve long-term diabetes management, attendees will gain valuable tools and resources to support their health journey.

The class will be held on Mondays from August 31 through October 12, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, in the Charles Ruff Conference Room at Elbert Memorial Hospital, located at 4 Medical Drive, Elberton, Georgia. Please note that the class will not meet on Labor Day, September 7.
