April's Business of the Month: TK Smallwood LLC

The Madison County Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize TK Smallwood LLC as the April Business of the Month in the Computers & Telecommunications category.

Owned by Madison County resident Thomas Smallwood, TK Smallwood has built a strong local reputation for providing dependable, high-quality IT services with a consistent focus on responsiveness, patience, and problem-solving. What began as a locally rooted IT service provider has grown into a trusted partner for businesses and organizations across Madison County and beyond.

Each month, the Chamber highlights a member business based on nominations submitted by fellow members. For April, TK Smallwood was recognized repeatedly for its commitment to customer service and its hands-on approach to resolving technical challenges.

One nomination described the company as “always willing to help a client work through issues until a solution is reached,” noting their “unwavering patience.” Another shared appreciation for TK Smallwood as “a local company that supports local small businesses,” adding that the team is “good about actually getting in front of the issue and helping keep our business running in stressful times.”

Beyond their work with private businesses, TK Smallwood also plays an essential role in supporting local government operations. The company serves as the IT provider for Madison County government offices, ensuring that critical systems remain operational and reliable on a daily basis.

During the recognition presentation at the Madison County Government Complex, Board of Commissioners Chairman Todd Higdon and County Clerk Christina Baxter shared their appreciation for the company’s ongoing support. Chairman Higdon emphasized the behind-the-scenes role the team plays in keeping county operations running smoothly, noting that they are involved from the start of the workday until closing each evening and consistently go above and beyond expectations.

Mrs. Baxter echoed this sentiment, expressing gratitude for the team’s willingness to take on complex technical issues and provide solutions that allow county staff to remain focused on serving the public.

TK Smallwood also provides IT services for the Madison County Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President & CEO Jill Parham recognized the importance of that partnership, sharing appreciation for the team’s reliability and the essential role they play in maintaining the Chamber’s day-to-day operations.

The Madison County Chamber of Commerce congratulates TK Smallwood on this well-deserved recognition and thanks them for their continued investment in strengthening the local business and government community.
