Description
We are thrilled to be co-hosting Scarecrows in the Cities along with many of our wonderful cities in leading up to our annual Harvest Festival Event. This initiative will serve as a community and family engagement activity while also showcasing businesses in our cities and adding fun Fall décor to our towns
How to Participate:
- Businesses will register to have a scarecrow through the Chamber by completing this event registration. Registration deadline is September 18th at noon.
- Your business will be responsible for the building, decorating, displaying and disposal of the scarecrow.
- Once you register you will be contacted with your city's display location prior to October 5th.
- Scarecrows cannot go up until October 5th and must be taken down after Harvest Festival, no later than November 13th
- We ask for scarecrows to be decorated family-friendly.
- We encourage you to include your business logo and/or sign by your scarecrow for an additional advertisement opportunity
- Your registration includes social media recognition where your scarecrow will be featured in our Scarecrow Decorating Contest on Facebook. The business with the most likes will be recognized and win a cash prize.
- We will also be hosting a community engagement activity regarding your scarecrows on October 19th! Check out more information about Selfie Saturday here!
