Madison County Democrats will hold a caucus on June 27, 2026, at 10:30 am. The meeting will be held at the Madison County Library in Danielsville.
The Madison County Democratic Committee is seeking Democrats who live and vote in Madison County to serve as representatives of their voting district. Madison County has five districts, and up to 3 representatives from each district will be elected at this meeting. Representatives are eligible to serve on the Committee’s executive board, make motions, and vote on issues as they arise.
To qualify to be a District Representative on the Madison County Democratic Committee, a person must be a registered voter residing in the Madison County District in which they are nominated, agree not to publicly support the campaign of any candidate opposing any nominee of the Democratic Party in ensuing elections, and affirm that they believe in the principles of the Democratic Party. The person nominated must be present at this meeting or have given consent to a current Committee member to be eligible.
During this meeting, any person who is a resident of one of the five Madison County districts and believes in the principles for which the Democratic Party stands is also entitled to make nominations and vote during this meeting for the people they want to serve as their District Representative on the County Committee.
