Join Project Safe in supporting survivors of domestic violence across rural Northeast Georgia communities.

Project Safe is seeking a Rural Legal Advocate to provide trauma-informed advocacy and direct support services to survivors of domestic violence in rural and outer-county service areas.

This position works directly with survivors to provide crisis intervention, safety planning, legal information, court advocacy, and resource navigation while helping strengthen community partnerships that support survivor safety and well-being. The advocate also collaborates with law enforcement, courts, prosecutors, attorneys, and other community partners to improve coordinated responses to domestic violence in rural communities.

Qualified candidates should have experience working with survivors of domestic violence or related victim services, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to survivor-centered advocacy. Regular travel within the service area, reliable transportation, and flexibility to meet the needs of survivors are required.
