Each year at our Chamber’s Annual Meeting & Dinner, we gather to celebrate the leaders, businesses, and organizations who go above and beyond to make Madison County stronger. These awards are more than recognition; they represent service, innovation, resilience, and heart. They remind us why we do this work and why investing in one another matters.

During this year’s event, award recipients were recognized in front of a full room of business leaders, elected officials, and community partners. Please reference photograph at bottom of this article to commemorate the evening and the collective impact of these outstanding individuals and organizations.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Marc Perry. This award recognizes a legacy of leadership and long-term dedication to Madison County. Marc Perry’s years of service and steady influence have played a meaningful role in shaping the strength and direction of our community.

The Chamber Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Tyler Mize of Barrett's Towing. This award honors an individual who generously gives their time and talents to advance the Chamber’s mission. Tyler Mize has consistently supported Chamber initiatives and exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism that keeps our organization moving forward.

The Business Person of the Year Award was presented to Dr. E. Tyson Strickland of Comer Veterinary Hospital and Custom Livestock Solutions LLC. This award recognizes exceptional leadership, professional excellence, and a strong commitment to community growth. Dr. Strickland’s work reflects both business innovation and dedication to the agricultural and local business sectors.

The Small Business of the Year Award was presented to Holloway's Automotive. Small businesses serve as the backbone of our local economy, and Holloway’s Automotive has demonstrated consistent service, reliability, and community pride.

The Community Champion Award was presented to Victor Johnson of Graham Law Firm LLC. This award recognizes an individual who goes beyond professional responsibilities to invest in the well-being of Madison County. Victor Johnson’s leadership and engagement reflect a deep commitment to strengthening the community.

The Non-Profit of the Year Award was presented to HireSmart Cares. Non-profit organizations play a vital role in supporting local families and addressing community needs. HireSmart Cares continues to make a measurable difference through service and outreach.

The Impact Business of the Year Award was presented to King’s Plumbing Company. This award recognizes a business whose influence extends beyond daily operations to meaningful community involvement. King’s Plumbing Company has demonstrated both professional excellence and a strong investment in Madison County’s future.

The MADICO Made Leader of the Year Award was presented to Dr. Robert Hooper, of Dr. Hooper & Associates. This award celebrates a leader who embodies pride in Madison County and works to cultivate opportunity and growth within our community.

The Leading Lady Award, first time it has ever been awarded, was presented to Anna Strickland of Harper and Mary Strategies. This award honors a woman whose leadership, mentorship, and professional excellence positively influence Madison County. Anna Strickland’s dedication continues to inspire others and strengthen our business community.

These honorees represent the very best of Madison County. Their leadership, service, and commitment contribute to a stronger local economy and a more vibrant community for all. We extend our sincere congratulations and appreciation to each of this year’s award recipients.
