Chamber Member Spotlight: Jason Moss Named to Georgia Trend’s 500 Most Influential Leaders for the Fourth Consecutive Year
The Chamber is proud to recognize Jason Moss, Founder and CEO of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA), for earning a place on the 2025 Georgia Trend 500 Most Influential Leaders list, an honor he has now received for an impressive four years in a row. This recognition reflects not only his leadership, but the growing momentum of Georgia’s manufacturing community.
For Moss, the achievement is deeply meaningful, yet he is quick to shift the spotlight away from himself. He often says that “this recognition isn’t just about me. It’s about what’s happening across Georgia’s manufacturing community.” His work over the past decade has centered on building a network where manufacturers, educators, policymakers and industry partners can collaborate, share ideas, and access opportunities that strengthen the entire sector.
Since founding GMA, Moss has played a pivotal role in elevating manufacturing’s influence in the state. Under his leadership, GMA has hosted countless plant tours, statewide events, and the annual Georgia Manufacturing Summit, all designed to help leaders connect, learn and grow. He believes firmly that “every handshake, every plant tour, every partnership we’ve built through GMA has proven one thing, when manufacturers connect, everyone wins.” This philosophy has shaped GMA’s approach to workforce development, apprenticeship programs, technical training partnerships, and the continued expansion of its Manufacturing Mastermind executive peer group.
Moss often explains that influence is not something that comes from a title, but from service. “Influence isn’t a title; it’s a responsibility,” he says. “It’s earned by showing up, sharing ideas, and helping others grow.” This commitment to community-building is also the foundation of his latest book, Manufacturing YOUR Network, a practical guide for professionals seeking to turn relationships into meaningful results.
Looking ahead, Moss believes that the future of Georgia manufacturing will be shaped by collaboration rather than scale. As he puts it, “The future of Georgia manufacturing won’t be shaped by the biggest company, it’ll be shaped by the strongest community.” He hopes GMA’s work continues to serve as a blueprint for leaders who want to build influence by helping others succeed. “If you’ve ever wondered how to turn connections into real results, this is your blueprint,” he adds.
The Madison County Chamber of Commerce congratulates our incredible partner, Jason Moss, on yet another year of well-earned recognition. His leadership, vision, and dedication continue to strengthen Georgia’s manufacturing ecosystem and inspire the collaborative spirit that drives the industry forward.
