Description

During the Georgia General Assembly legislative session, the Chamber will host weekly Legislative Calls every Friday via Zoom. Each call will feature a member of our elected delegation to the Georgia General Assembly, offering timely insight into key issues, priorities, and expected outcomes of the legislative session. 

The first 15 to 20 minutes will consist of a facilitated conversation with the legislator, followed by an opportunity for participants to ask questions and engage in discussion. These calls are designed to keep Chamber members informed, connected, and engaged in the legislative process. 

The Madison County Chamber of Commerce's Government Affairs Committee is excited to champion this regional collaboration with the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce and the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce, strengthening communication, advocacy, and partnership efforts across our region.
