Spring 2026 MADICO MADE Job Shadowing Day Orientation

Spring 2026 MADICO MADE Job Shadowing Day Orientation

Tuesday, March 3, 2026 (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM) (EST)

Description

The Spring Job Shadowing Day Orientation is a critical first step in preparing students for a meaningful and successful job shadowing experience. This required orientation ensures participants understand expectations, professional conduct, workplace safety, and the value of engaging with local employers. More importantly, it sets the foundation for how this experience connects to long-term workforce development in Madison County.

As part of the MADICO MADE Workforce initiative, Spring Job Shadowing Day is designed to expose students to real-world career pathways, strengthen employability skills, and build early connections between students and local industries.

Through this orientation, students will learn how their participation supports a larger effort to foster, retain, and grow a strong local workforce pipeline. This program is made possible through a collaborative partnership with Madison County High School, Madison County High School Work-Based Learning, and Broad River College and Career Academy. Together, these partners are committed to creating intentional opportunities that prepare students for future careers while meeting the evolving workforce needs of our community. Attendance at this orientation is essential to ensuring students are fully prepared to represent themselves, their schools, and the MADICO MADE program with professionalism and confidence during Spring Job Shadowing Day.
