The Madison County Board of Commissioners will host a community blood drive in partnership with The Blood Connection on November 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 91 Albany Ave #1, Danielsville, GA 30633. Donors who attend this event will receive $30 in rewards, and the drive will utilize Sponsor Code 13921.

 A county official emphasized the importance of the $500 grant highlighted on the event flyer: if the drive collects 30 or more units of blood, Madison County will receive this grant, which will be donated directly to the local food bank. This contribution will help support food-insecure families throughout the community, reinforcing how one act of generosity can have multiple layers of impact. 

This blood drive also plays a vital role in supporting Madison County EMS, which is now one of the first EMS agencies in the state to carry blood on its ambulances. This capability provides a critical, lifesaving tool for patients experiencing severe trauma or medical emergencies. 

Every donation made at this event helps ensure that lifesaving blood is available to citizens when they need it most. Community members are encouraged to schedule their donation appointment in advance by using the QR code featured on the event flyer. Everyone is invited to participate by donating blood, spreading the word, and encouraging friends, family, and neighbors to join. By doing so, residents can support local EMS, strengthen the county’s emergency response capabilities, and help feed vulnerable families; all through one meaningful event.
