The Madison County Chamber invites all nonprofit leaders and faith based partners to a FREE community roundtable on Wednesday December 10th at Moon's Grove Baptist Church's Family Life Center beginning with networking at 8.30 a.m. and followed by the program from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. 

The Chamber team is dedicating the Nonprofit and Religious Group Roundtable to a focused conversation on one of the most urgent needs in our county because foster children in Madison County continue to face significant challenges and the demand for stable foster homes and wraparound support has steadily grown. Each year children from Madison County are placed outside the community due to a shortage of local foster families which leads to disruptions in school routines increased emotional stress and a loss of connection to familiar support systems. These challenges affect not only the children but also the long term health and resilience of our community. 

To help address these needs we are honored to welcome a representative from Chosen for Life ministries along with a leader from the Northeast Georgia CASA and Madison County Department of Family and Children Services who will share current data highlight existing service gaps and identify ways that nonprofits churches and civic partners can work together to strengthen support for foster children and foster families. This is a discussion that deeply impacts Madison County and one that calls for collective commitment so we hope you will make plans to attend this free and important gathering as we work to rally our community around our most vulnerable neighbors.
