The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) invites local government representatives to an upcoming webinar on the Georgia State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) on Wednesday, December 10th at 10:00AM. The SSBCI valuable program that helps small businesses strengthen operations and expand access to capital. Reauthorized under the American Rescue Plan Act, the SSBCI program provides nearly $200 million statewide to support lending programs that help small businesses grow. Through tools such as loan guarantees and loan participations, SSBCI reduces risk for lenders and expands financing opportunities for very small businesses, as well as those that are socially and economically disadvantaged. This workshop is facilitated by Holly Hunt & Howard Dent, Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA).
This session is a great opportunity for local governments to learn how SSBCI works, understand how it can benefit businesses in their communities, and explore ways to connect small business owners with these resources.
