Camp Kiwanis is located on the scenic Broad River (just one hour from Clemson, SC or ½hr from Athens, GA). A place where experiential education is blended with our belief that each program must instill a sense of belonging, sense of competence, sense of usefulness, and a sense of control/influence over one’s own life.

Statement of Purpose for Camp Kiwanis: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta seeks to achieve its mission's outcomes by providing a residential camping program at Camp Kiwanis. Camp Kiwanis' programs will focus on promoting an increased awareness, appreciation, and knowledge of the natural environment and the impact our members can have on influencing the wise management of our natural resources. Through small groups and personal experiences, members will experience the results of their goal setting decisions and problem solving opportunities in the out‑of‑doors. Knowledge, skills, and attitudes gained from the "Camp Kiwanis Experience" will be presented as “personal growth experiences” that can be applied to our members daily lives.  Special concern is directed toward those youth that are from disadvantaged circumstances.
