The Madison County Board of Commissioners will be accepting application’s for a Full Time Park Attendant for the Madison County Recreation Department.  

This position assists in the overall maintenance and appearance of all parks and recreation facilities operated by the Rec Department.  Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to; performing all duties set forth by the Maintenance Coordinator, service large and small equipment as needed and transport to facilities as needed. Inspect playgrounds at all parks and facilities; maintain all nature walk trails and playgrounds.  The successful candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, and some holidays in support of county programs and events.  This position requires working in the heat, cold, dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, and requires walking, lifting and pulling of objects and materials up to 50 pounds.  Please apply online at madisoncountyga.us or in person at the Human Resource Department.  Starting salary is $11.00 per hour.  Madison County is an equal opportunity employer and a drug free work place.
