Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Madison County Habitat for Humanity is currently seeking volunteers for the following positions:

Workers for Build Days- no construction experience required; assist with moving supplies; follow directions of Construction Leaders; we generally work 7:30 to 1 or 2pm Saturdays with lunch provided; some optional work potential on Thursdays and Fridays for volunteers with some experience

Meal Preppers- provide lunch for workers on build days, usually Saturdays, for 5 to 20 people

Construction Team Leader- assist our Construction Coordinator with leading other volunteers during build Saturdays and possibly weekday projects

Board Member- participate in decision making, networking, and logistical details for moving MCHFH forward; regular board members meet monthly; an adjunct or advisory role is also open for quarterly participation

Rummage Sale Fundraiser Event assistants- help organize, price, display and run periodic yard sale style fundraisers at or near the office in Comer

Fundraiser and PR Event Planner- spearhead events with goal of raising awareness and funds

Family Support Team Member- support our Family Support Coordinator with Family Selection process (periodic when ready to build next home); assist with homebuyer education; monitor partner family involvement in the building process; assist with early months of homeownership
