January at the Madison County Library
January at the Madison County Library
The Madison County Library is offering a variety of programs and resources for all ages throughout January 2026. Activities include weekly children’s programming, STEM opportunities, book clubs, creative groups, and family friendly events, along with special programs for teens and adults.
The library is also providing community support services such as technology assistance by appointment and access to a library social worker. In partnership with UGA Extension, the library will host educational and wellness programs this month, and it is currently featuring a traveling civil rights history exhibit highlighting the life and legacy of Lonnie C. King Jr.
The Friends of the Library are encouraging community involvement through their current membership drive and upcoming meetings. The library will be closed on January 1 for New Year’s Day and January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
