The Athens Area Community Foundation is launching a signature Board Leadership Training, co-hosted with the Jackson EMC Foundation, consisting of four separate workshops:

• ON YOUR MARK, for nonprofit leaders;
• READY, for leaders new to serving or looking to serve on a board of directors;
• SET, for leaders currently serving on boards;
• GO, for current Board Chairs and Executive Directors to dive deeper;

You will hear from an experienced consultant to learn best practices in board governance as well as hear from peers serving our community as board members. You will leave feeling ignited and ready to grow with the organization you are giving back to!

One workshop each month from February through May will be hosted at Jackson EMC’s Neese Building in Hull, GA:

• ON YOUR MARK, Wednesday, February 19th, 2025 
• READY, Friday, March 7th, 2025 
• SET, Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 
• GO, Thursday, May 8th, 2025
