Beck Farm's Ila Market is Open for the Season

Beck Farms, a long-standing Madison County agricultural cornerstone and Chamber member, continues to strengthen its connection with the community through the Ila Farmers Market, which officially opened for the season on April 18th.

The market is currently open every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through the end of May, offering the community access to fresh, locally grown produce and farm products directly from one of Madison County’s most established family farms.

Beginning June 5th, the Ila Farmers Market will expand its schedule to better serve the community, operating every Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Beck Farms is family-owned and operated by Jerry Beck and his daughters, Cyndi and Debra Beck, and has been a multigenerational presence in Madison County agriculture. The farm produces a wide variety of vegetables and fruits, along with high-quality pork, and maintains year-round greenhouse and livestock operations.

For years, Beck Farms has played an important role in supporting local food access through direct-to-consumer sales in Ila. The Ila Farmers Market builds on that tradition by creating a consistent space where residents can connect directly with local growers and producers.

Beck Farms was also recently recognized as a 2025 Georgia Centennial Family Farm, honoring more than a century of continuous family farming and agricultural stewardship in Georgia. This recognition reflects the long-standing legacy that continues to guide their work today.

The Madison County Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Beck Farms for their continued leadership in agriculture and their commitment to strengthening local food systems through the Ila Farmers Market.
