Jackson EMC & MOAS: Community Impact Through Partnership
How Jackson EMC and Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter are demonstrating the power of community collaboration.
One of the greatest strengths of a Chamber community is seeing organizations come together in support of one another rather than working in silos. Recently, that spirit of collaboration was on full display through a partnership between Jackson EMC and Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter (MOAS).
Back in April, volunteers from Jackson EMC spent time at MOAS helping refresh and improve the shelter’s landscaping and play yard areas. Their willingness to step in and serve created a meaningful impact not only for the shelter staff and volunteers, but also for the animals who benefit daily from these spaces.
Partnerships like this are a reminder that community growth does not happen alone. When businesses, nonprofits, and organizations support one another, we create stronger connections, better resources, and a more vibrant Madison County for everyone. Whether through volunteerism, sponsorships, collaboration, or simply showing up to lend a helping hand, these relationships matter.
At the Madison County Chamber, we are continually encouraged by the ways our members invest back into the community and into one another. Jackson EMC’s support of MOAS is a wonderful example of how businesses can use their time and talents to make a lasting local impact.
We are grateful for members who recognize that community success is built together, and we look forward to continuing to celebrate partnerships that strengthen Madison County.
